Paul Haems has clocked up 30 years of service with Brabo. Besides being a pilot, as a Director he aims to contribute to the general well-being within the company and its continued existence.
Paul Haems: “Thirty years ago, family members and friends of employees often came to Brabo looking for a job. The friendly relationships here are rooted in that family atmosphere. You develop a form of social responsibility, you motivate each other to do the work well. It’s fantastic how many people have the company’s best interest at heart. I believe that’s a good thing.
The Board of Directors consists of two groups. The first group represents Brabo’s clients. The added value in the second group of directors is the direct representation of the shop floor. When you bring these perspectives together, it creates interesting ways of looking at things.
As partners, the employees are an active part of the company. As a result, they are committed. My feeling is that many people here are really proud of their jobs and the company.”
